Bloke has been loved. Beloved. For over 16 years by Nancy and John.

I met Nancy, John and their Jack Russell, Bloke, at Harlingen Veterinary Clinic’s Howl-O-Ween festival in Belle Mead, New Jersey. Bloke was dressed in his dinosaur costume which was his 16th Halloween costume. Nancy has gotten him a new costume every year since he was a puppy.

It was my privilege to go to Nancy and John’s home to photograph them together with Bloke. Their devotion to him was apparent in every way. And I could feel and see Bloke’s devotion to them. They reminded me to enjoy each and every day with my companion animals. The time we have with them goes by so very quickly.
